And to make it even better my mothers birthday is St. Patricks day so if I won I could make her some yummy birthday/ St. Patricks day cupcakes :) How great would that be? Okay well lets see, the only McCormick thing I haven't used is the seafood stuff. Because I don't eat seafood otherwise I would probably use that too. I LOVE McCormick products.

ReplyDeleteI use the gravy mixes all the time, much tastier and easier than homemade. You can keep the turkey necks! We like the sausage gravy mix the best. I also use their grill mate marinades for my meat and veggies. Yummy!

I really enjoy the recipe inspirations too because you get the opportunity to try a recipe without having to buy each individual spice and then if you love it you can purchase the full sized products and make the recipe over and over. McCormick is innovative and on the edge of culinary tastes in my home! oh yes Id love to win this and make goodies for my lil red headed Irish babies!!! thanks

ReplyDeleteI use everything, EXCEPT Grill Mates. We don't grill and I have shied away from them. However, I am wondering if you can use them in the oven or frying pan. I don't see why not. I was surprised that I have used all of their products.

ReplyDeleteWe use their herbs and spices when i cook chicken or roat and my husband uses the Grill mates. Grilling is his thing. Love the seasoning mixes also. they are great to spice up a salad, or to make sauce a lot faster. the food coloring turns out a lot brighter, and the flavors actually stay in the food at high temperatures.

McCormick makes my life easier when it comes to cooking for my Marine :] and baking as well! I use McCormick's lemon, vanilla, almond, and peppermint extracts, its Brown, Chicken, Turkey, and Original Country gravy mixes, its Sloppy Joe and Meatloaf beef seasonings, its Ranch and French onion dips, its food coloring, and last but not least, its Montreal Chicken and Steak Grillmates Seasonings! The flavors are great, and so are the prices! I can't help but have at least one of McCormick's items on my grocery list!

ReplyDeleteI use McCormick's extracts since I started baking at age 8. Vanilla extract is a staple in my pantry, and the grill mates have really helped our BBQ season. I will look for the seafood steamers next time I am at the store.

I love McCormick's Lemon Pepper! I use it on baked potatoes with cottage cheese, in cream bases for my fish. You name it!

ReplyDeleteI think I use more McCormick products that I can count. I know for sure I use their vanilla extract, peppermint extract, maple extract, imitation butter flavoring, rum flavoring, strawberry flavoring, almond extract, and almost all sorts of their food coloring. That's just for baking!

I went and took a in my cupboard and I would say 3/4 of my spices are McCormick's (off hand I saw black pepper, cumin, ground mustard, rosemary, pumpkin pie spice, all spice, curry powder... lol it's all in there), I also use the food coloring, vanilla, and many of the grill mates seasoning packets. I just bought the chicken marsala packet for the first time yesterday but haven't tried it out yet!
